HoD is a London-based RIBA architecture practice working with residential, commercial and developer clients to deliver well-made buildings across the UK. Our work ranges from the careful adaptation of listed buildings to the crafting of considered new build architecture.
We are interested in spaces that feel controlled and enduring. Buildings designed with clarity and restraint, and with careful attention to how they are inhabited and used over time.
Historical and environmental context is central to our approach. We understand the built environment as a significant contributor to the climate crisis and seek to design buildings that limit their impact through long-lasting and resource-conscious design.
Services
We support projects through all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work, from feasibility studies and concept design through to planning, technical design, procurement and delivery on site.
Alongside regularly acting as Contract Administrators and Principal Designers, the studio maintains a flexible approach and can adapt the scope of services to suit the specific requirements of each project.
We work collaboratively with interior designers, consultants and wider design teams, drawing on an established network of contractors and specialist collaborators to deliver projects with care and consistency.
